Bingo Chat Hints and Conduct
Sunday, 9. November 2008
As with any chat room, a bingo chat room has a certain etiquette that will have to be discerned. Most of this conduct is relevant to other web-based chat sites as well, and just amount to common sense. As in just about any form of digital written communication. Writing all in capital letters is considered as shouting and and as a result bad-mannered. Of course at some instance in their lives everyone mistakenly hits the Caps Lock, and this form of slip-up is completely understandable, but it is still advisable to offer an appropriate absolution.
Profanity and the use of curse words is similarly frowned on, only more so. As deplorable as it’s to display such language in any group of people where you do not know the individuals really well, it is as atrocious in a net bingo chat room. Once again this is merely a matter of applying the same common sense as you would in the real world. Personal insults administered at other enthusiasts are also not permissable, even though you think that you’re just indulging in some competitive advantage.
As a rule you are always more fortunate to watch the chat for a while before come in with your own two-cents’ worth. This will permit you to figure out what the others are chatting about, as well as the tone of the dialogue. A majority of bingo chat rooms are watched, so there will behuman at a personal computer somewhere getting alerted by software watching for specific terms and words. They’ll not hesitate to eject individuals from chat sites if anything untoward is seen, so it is not only the anger of your fellow players that you’ll contend with if you insist on breaching net bingo chat room etiquette.
